One of the hardest vintages of Ardbeg to find, this 1964 is a sublime and heady cocktail of simmering, tarry peat, huge coastal notes, greasy smoke, resin, hessian, motor oil and little flecks of green fruits. A masterpiece of Islay malt whisky and a sublime example of what made 1960s Ardbegs so special.
