Glen Moray distillery in Speyside was long ignored by many whisky fans, an underappreciated malt whose image has suffered in the past from low-end marketing promotions. Yet Glen Moray is secretly a beautiful single malt whisky, classically Speyside, complex, fruity, charming, robust, capable of spectacular ageing, and able to show well at a variety of ages. Long may people forget about this glorious distillery, that all the great bottlings may remain such good value.
