The 2020 edition of Springbank 18-year-old, which first made its appearance in 2009 and is already so popular with fans of the Campbeltown distillery that multiple batches are done most years.
This 2020 Springbank 18-year-old is from batch 20/179, a small batch of 55% ex-sherry and 45% ex-bourbon casks - the cask recipe varies a lot in these releases so it's always worth checking, but of course the quality remains straight out of the top drawer.

Some qualities of a real whiskey here it seems. Nothing wrong per se, some may prefer it one way or another, but, tastes nice overall to me. Being ultra picky... a bit sweet, and oddly a tiny bit bitter on the after taste. Still an enjoyable whiskey.
