Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
A fresh, youthful Glen Garioch 2013 bottled as an 8-year-old by Douglas Laing for their Provenance range.
This 8-year-old Glen Garioch came from Cask #DL15444, a single refill barrel of the 2013 vintage that turned out 293 bottles at the Provenance standard 46%. Bottled without colouring or chill filtration, of course, so this should be delightful stuff.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Nicely spiced and warming ahead of a cereal based interest, and honey.
Palate: Carries an initial picante intensity, full of gingery spice and later Malt.
Finish: Shows a hot toddy style, burnt sugars and a gentle waft of smoke.
