Delord is a family-owned company based in Lannepax in the heart of Armagnac country, where they make field-to-bottle vintage Armagnacs with total control over every facet of the process, from growing their own grapes to vinifying their wines and distilling their own spirits.

Now well established in the UK’s leading restaurants and high end hotel bars, the historic Delord marque was founded in the 1930s by the sons of 19th century travelling distiller Prosper Delord, a travelling armagnac distiller. The Delord Freres armagnac house was founded in 1932, and the company is still run by Prosper and Marie’s grandsons and great-grandsons today. 

Delord is one of the most comprehensive operations in Armagnac, and their vintage armagnacs are almost all from Bas Armagnac, the most prestigious sub-appellation in the category. Delord's armagnacs are made with the classic Baco, Folle Blanche and Ugni Blanc grapes, occasionally with some Colombard in the assemblage, and all grape varieties are harvested and vinified separately before distillation.
