Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 43%
A lovely old 1975 St Magdalene bottled at 43% in 2008 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Rare Old series from a small batch of refill sherry hogshead casks.
With the revival of Rosebank now accomplished, St. Magdalene (sometimes known as Linlithgow) is now unarguably the greatest lost Lowland single malt distillery. St. Magdalene was relatively unknown during its lifetime, with no official bottlings until much later, but thankfully these wonderful old indie bottlings from G&M and others have preserved a few great old vintage casks like these for whisky lovers today.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Delicious new make spirit! I see many good things ahead! Clean, well made and well worth every penny! Soft, peat and smoke, with crisp fruit. Almost creamy mouth feel
Can’t wait for the matured whisky!
