One of the very greatest of the Port Ellen Special Releases, the Second Release 24-year-old Port Ellen 1978 was bottled in 2002 at its natural cask strength of 59.35% and has both the fierce austerity and the extraordinary depth of flavour so beloved by fans of these legendary Port Ellen official bottlings.
