Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 40%
An old bottle of Dallas Dhu 1982 Speyside single malt whisky bottled by independent bottling behemoths Gordon & MacPhail for their Licensed Bottling range, which was subsequently rebranded as the Distillery Labels. This edition was released in 2007, making the whisky a 24-year-old or 25-year-old.
Dallas Dhu was making some great single malts in its final years, and this whisky was distilled in the penultimate vintage before the distillery joined the ranks of Diageo predecessor SMD’s great whisky cull victims in 1983. With the welcome news that Dallas Dhu is finally being restored to operational capacity and should be making whisky again soon, we can now look forward to new 25-year-old editions of the distillery’s occasionally idiosyncratic Speyside whisky at some point in the 2050s - and in the meantime we can enjoy these older bottlings of long-aged Dallas Dhu with a clear conscience.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
