The Glover 8-year-old Batch 7 is a very special blended malt whisky made with single malt whisky from Japan and Scotland created in occasional batches by Adelphi Distillers. Batch 7 of The Glover was released in 2024 after being assembled from a mix of single malts from Chichibu in Japan and Adelphi's own Ardnamurchan distillery in the western Highlands.
The Glover is named after famous Scottish businessman Thomas Blake Glover, who moved to Japan in his early twenties in the 19th century and was later involved in the creation of companies including Mitsubishi and Kirin. The Glover 8-year-old Batch 7 is a limited edition of just 482 bottles at its natural cask strength of 56.4%.
