A 1997 vintage Bas Armagnac from the prestigious Delord house. Delord is a family company, a true field to bottle operation controlling every aspect of their product from growing their own grapes to distilling, ageing and blending their own eaux-de-vies.
This 1997 vintage Delord Bas Armagnac was bottled in 2020, and was distilled from a mix of Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco grapes, which are typically vinified separately and are only distilled to around 54-58% - producing a strong flavour profile with a more assertive character than their Cognac cousins.
