The second bottling of Balblair 1991, a hugely popular vintage with fans of this splendid old Highland distillery. This came out in 2011, making the whisky inside at least 19 years old, and is a terrific all-rounder, with fruit, patisserie and some delicious spice notes.
Balblair 1991-2011 is equally at home as a late afternoon aperitif, in a hipflask on a brisk day or as an accompaniment to a medium-bodied cigar. A very classy Highland dram from a brilliant distillery.
