This long-aged single cask Speyside whisky was distilled in 1965 and matured for 43 years in a single sherry butt number 4816.
It was bottled in 2008 at 50% and with a yield of 583 bottles by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask series.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Orange pith, spice, cedar-wood plus late leaf smoke.
Palate: Carries a big peppery spice hit and a mulled wine style.
Finish: Soft and mellow with dried fruit/jam and gingerbread.
