This Glenrothes 2009 has been bottled as a 12-year-old for the Infrequent Flyers range after ending its maturation in a Marsala cask, adding sweetness and complexity. This 12-year-old Marsala finished 2009 Glenrothes yielded 265 bottles at a mighty 58.7%.

Colour: Burnt amber.
Nose: Almond praline, raisins, toffee and coconut.
Palate: Viscous. Rich sweetness. Peanut brittle, cinnamon buns and Demerara sugar. Very spicy.
