A single cask Benrinnes 1995 30-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released in 2025 by independent bottlers Signatory Vintage as part of their prestige Symington’s Choice series selected by head honcho Andrew Symington himself.
This 30-year-old Benrinnes 1995 was bottled by Signatory without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 101, and was finished in a second fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead cask before yielding a total of 345 bottles at a tantalisingly nigh-perfect natural cask strength of 49.1%. Benrinnes is terrific from sherry casks once it’s had a bit of time to stretch its legs - this should be fantastic sherried Speyside single malt.

This Blair Athol from Signatory Vintage is one of the best I’ve tried from the 100 proof range. As long as they keep up this quality of releases I’ll keep buying and drinking them! Superb.
My usual preference is for a peaty whisky; however, the Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt 2026 was an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be trying more.
