As the name suggests, this rye has had an additional finishing period, with Michter's taking their standard US*1 Small Batch rye, which is aged at least four years, and reracking into specially toasted custom barrels made from long-seasoned wood.

Michter's have been making their own rye whiskey at their distillery in Louisville since 2015, and have bottled this single barrel rye whiskey at its natural cask strength of 109.2 US Proof, equivalent to 54.6%.
