A single cask Craigellachie 2013 Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2023 at full strength without colouring or chill filtration by Berry Bros & Rudd for their Spring 2024 releases.
This 2013 Craigellachie matured initially in a hogshead cask before finishing in a wine barrique that previously held posh claret from Margaux, and yielded 298 bottles at a promisingly sturdy natural cask strength of 55.4%. Indie Craigellachie is much more common nowadays than it used to be, thankfully, as it's a great distillery. This one looks like a peach for wine finish fans.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
