Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: The Syndicate's 70cl / 51.2%
A single cask Lagavulin 1979 30-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled in 2009 at Bruichladdich distillery for the mysterious independent bottlers The Syndicate, a shadowy cabal of Islay insiders.
Independent Lagavulins are rare enough but to find one at 30 years old is almost unique. This Lagavulin 1979 single cask from the syndicate is a fantastic coastal and gentle Lagavulin that shares quite some characteristics with its stablemate Caol Ila. A wonderful mix of smoked tea, oysters, seashore, medicines, peat oils and touches of metal polish. Fantastic whisky and a real rarity.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
