A great second run. Although showing as younger than the first releases, this tastes like an older whisky. Very drinkable!
I acquired mine after someone had poured it away, and used the empty as a candle holder. Despite imbibing this Glenrothes from a drain, it was decent. 57.1% seemed to remove any of the drain ickiness. It has also somewhat dulled the pain I'm still in from recently trapping my, ahem, in my zipper.
Since my daughter lives in Yorkshire I had to try this especially when I saw the peat finish. Its a promising young whisky but I would have preferred a more definite peat finish similar to the one on offer from the Glasgow Distilliery
