This Infrequent Flyers 2007 vintage Fettercairn 14-year-old was bottled without colouring or chill filtration after a finishing period in an Oloroso Sherry puncheon that yielded a generous 622 bottles at its natural cask strength of 55.2%. Whisper it, but Fettercairn seems to be having a moment right now and these indie bottlings have played a big part in rehabilitating the distillery's reputation.

Colour: Mahogany.
Nose: Super sweet - muscovado sugar, heavily stewed fruits and salted caramel.
Palate: Rich and full flavoured. Cinnabons and maple syrup. Well-integrated flavours of cocoa, mocha, sultanas and figs. A well-sherried dram indeed!
