One of a run of incredible Islay Festival exclusives that Bunnahabhain bottled in the early 2000s. This 1965 was bottled in 2001 at 35 years of age from a sherry butt, cask number 7159. One of 594 bottles released at 53.9%.
This is a lighter style of sherry which reveals more of Bunnahabhain's beautifully coastal, nutty and saline 60s distillery character, redolent with more green fruits, spice and a light whiff of peat. Another brilliant old Bunnahabhain.
