Bowmore Vaults Edition No.1 is the first release in a four-part series that covers the different depths and layers the Bowmore distillery's No.1 Vaults maturation cellar has to offer.
Named "Atlantic Sea Salt" this Bowmore Vaults first release concentrates on those lovely maritime flavours you get in Bowmore whisky.
Special thanks must be passed onto Loch Indaal and its waves crashing against the distillery wall - the No.1 Vaults are famously below sea level.
Heard about this recently and was surprised it was still available. It has a very distinctive nose, salt and fruit. Surprisingly pleasant.
