Glen Spey is one of Diageo's least well-known distilleries, spending its days as a workhorse providing clean, biscuity, nutty malt for the company's blends, particularly the much-loved J&B brand. Released at its full natural cask strength of 53.5%, this Glen Spey 12-year-old would have beaten off stiff competition from many much more famous distilleries to be picked for this prestigious series.
