A 1994 Invergordon 30-year-old Capella Highland single grain whisky bottled by North Star Spirits in 2024 without colouring or chill filtration for their Capella range.
This 30-year-old Invergordon 1994 was bottled from a pair of refill barrels that yielded 470 bottles at a hearty strength of 50%. This is the first bottling in North Star's Capella range, which is named after one of the brightest stars in the Northern hemisphere, and it looks superb - we can't wait to see what's next.

An exciting deep rich brown coloured liquid.
A compote of fruit together with dried grapes is lovely on the tongue.
Nicely sweetened syrup is evident too.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
