This 17-year-old Blair Athol 2008 was finished in a new oak barrel for over four years and was bottled from single cask 807415 with an outturn of 230 bottles at a natural cask strength of 50.8%. Despite its obvious class Blair Athol remains a bafflingly underrated Highland distillery and this looks like a steal.
