Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Dram Mor 70cl / 54.8%
A long-aged 1995 Girvan single grain whisky, bottled in 2022 as a 27-year-old by indie faves Dram Mor.
This Dram Mor 27-year-old Girvan 1995 came from a single refill bourbon cask that yielded a total of 178 bottles at its natural cask strength of 54.8%. Girvan is one of Scotland's last surviving grain whisky distilleries and most of its output goes into owner William Grant's blends, so this is a rare treat.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Golden Syrup.
Nose: Light, fresh and sweet with hints of spring flowers, delicate peppery spice and mallow root. Over a quarter of a decade of marriage has allowed the subtle charred oak and gentle vanilla to seamlessly blend with the addition of crumbly ginger biscuits.
Palate: Cacao nibs, white chocolate and rich cream all jump out in a sweet delicious rush. Also, a note of pear drops and warm spices.
Finish: Typically light and short, drifting off quickly leaving a lingering gentle oak spice and a white chocolatey feel right at the front of the palate. A slight drying to the finish..
