Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%
A single cask 12-year-old Linkwood 2010 bottled in late 2022 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range.
This 2010 Linkwood 12-year-old came from Cask DL16339, a single refill hogshead cask that turned out 340 bottles at the Old Particular standard strength of 48.4%. Linkwood's taut, clean, technically excellent spirit is splendid stuff at this sort of age, so if you're looking for a young everyday sipper from the lighter side of Speyside this will be perfect.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromatic, round, sweet and full of big barley flavour, autumn fruits and nuts.
Palate: Every bit as dulcet as expected, with a range of spices, and later citrus and sugar.
Finish: The Piquancy is still evident, with a gentle cough-drop and subtle oak style.
