Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled By Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.3%
The Ileach fisherman is back with the final bottling in the Vintage Series.
This 27-year-old Big Peat is a vatting of the usual favourite Islay single malts that make up the regular Big Peat whisky - the biggest difference being that these have all been aged for at least 27 years and it has a boosted ABV of 48.3%. What an end to the Vintage Series this is.

Tasting Notes
Official
Nose: A heady, chimney-smoked nose to whisk you off to Big Peat’s Islay home, with hints of briny sea air, chewed leather and honey sweetness.
Palate: The refined palate shows a complex amalgam of barbequed meats, coal dust and rock salt.
Finish: Long and satisfying finish with drifting puffs of peat smoke.
