An official Edradour 12 Year Old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2013 and bottled on 7th April 2026 as Batch #8 of the distillery's cask strength Oloroso Sherry Butts series.
Matured for 12 years in a combination of first-fill and second-fill Oloroso sherry butts, this natural cask strength release was bottled at 58.0% ABV without chill filtration or added colour. Batch #8 was drawn from ten casks (numbers 553, 554, 701, 703, 704, 705, 706, 707, 708 and 709), producing 6,656 bottles.
Edradour's cask strength Oloroso Sherry Butts series showcases the distillery's rich, full-bodied Highland spirit alongside the influence of traditional sherry cask maturation.
The combination of first-fill and second-fill Oloroso butts allows the distillery character to remain at the forefront while adding layers of dried fruit, roasted nuts, dark chocolate and warming spice. Expect notes of rich Christmas cake, raisins, figs, orange peel, cocoa, cinnamon and honeyed malt, balanced by Edradour's signature oily texture and long, warming finish.
