Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 50.7%

A remarkable single cask sherried Mortlach 1969 50-year-old, bottled in 2019 without colouring or chill filtration by Gordon & MacPhail for their incredible Private Collection series. This 1969 Mortlach is presented in an elegant decanter with a very handsome wooden box.

This exquisite Private Collection Mortlach from Gordon & MacPhail was distilled in 1969 and aged for 50 years in first-fill sherry butt #92001201 before being bottled in 2019 with a yield of 365 bottles at an impressive cask strength of 50.7%. It's no secret that G&M have better stock of long-aged Mortlach than the distillery themselves, and these ancient sherry casks from the Aladdin's cave up in Elgin always deliver magic in a glass.
