This 2009 Glenallachie 12-year-old has been bottled from a single barrel that formerly held Sicilian fortified wine Marsala, which will have added an extra layer of sweet, nutty complexity to Glenallachie's delicious Speyside character. The cask yielded 295 bottles at a cask strength of 58%.

Nose: Butterscotch and heather honey, followed by toffee, tropical fruits and sultanas.
Palate: Waves of caramel, syrup and grapefruit, with heather honey, mocha and demerara sugar.
