Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 40%

A 25-year-old Undisclosed Speyside single malt whisky from the 1967 vintage, this was a vatting of two casks bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 1993.

There were (unconfirmed) whispers that this was from Glenlivet distillery, and the casks are believed to have been refill port casks in which the whisky matured for its full term. Either way, this is a superlative old school Speyside dram, characterised but not dominated by plenty of fruit from the port casks. A rare old curio indeed.
