The oldest bottling in Batch 6 of Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers bottlings is a venerable 28-year-old Glen Keith from the 1993 vintage bottled at 52.2% after spending its final days in a rye whiskey barrel.
Glen Keith is one of those distilleries that never seems to catch on, which is remarkable really, as they're rarely anything less than very good - particularly cask strength examples from indie bottlers. We'd wager that this will be terrific stuff.

Colour: Rich gold.
Nose: Banana and almond cake, with a toffee sauce, underpinned by toasted oak.
Palate: Complex and full-bodied. Orchard fruits, honey and home-baking. Peach and raisin pie, with golden syrup drizzled on top. Quite strong peppery notes.
Finish: Rich, sweet and spicy.
