Brave New Spirits is a young independent whisky bottling company located in the centre of Glasgow. The company released their first whiskies in 2021 and now have several ranges of whisky and a variety of proprietary single malt and blended whisky brands.
Brave New Spirits have embraced modern packaging and have an adventurous cask maturation policy. The company’s early Rebels Guerilla Cask series made a point of only releasing whisky matured in non-traditional casks, with several whiskies full-term matured in rum or wine casks, while the majority of releases in the Whisky of Voodoo range were matured or finished in unusual wine or fortified wine casks and had very colourful cartoon tiki-style labels.
In recent times Brave New Spirits have launched their Cask Noir, Yellow Edition and Cask Masters ranges, with the Yellow Edition whiskies featuring plain yellow labels and the mostly matured in traditional casks, while the Cask Noir and Cask Masters ranges feature still colourful but slightly more restrained label designs and showcase a mix of both traditional and more adventurous cask types.
