Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46.8%

Released late in 2022, remarkably Fettercairn 18-year-old Scottish Oak is the first ever official 18-year-old single malt from Fettercairn distillery and will be an annual release going forward. Fettercairn 18-year-old Scottish Oak has been bottled at the tasty drinking strength of 46.8% without colouring or chill filtration.

This 18-year-old Fettercairn has been matured in first fill and refill American oak casks before being finished in locally sourced Scottish Oak wood and is the first release in Fettercairn's new Scottish Oak programme, masterminded by Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass to create a symbiotic relationship with the distillery's eastern Highlands location while supporting the future of the local Highland Scottish oak forests.

Weller 12 Year Old

Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Distillery Bottling 750ml / 45% / 90 Proof

Weller 12-year-old is a premium wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey from the Buffalo Trace distillery, whose owners Sazerac Company bought the Weller brand in 1999 following the demise of the original Stitzel-Weller distillery.

This 12-year-old Weller bourbon pays tribute to William Larue Weller, who is credited with inventing the first bourbon to use wheat rather than rye as the secondary grain in 1849. Weller 12-year-old shares teh same wheated bourbon recipe as its more famous stablemate Pappy Van Winkle and is bottled at 90 US proof / 45%. This is a flagship expression for the Weller brand, with serious depth and complexity under an appealing soft, dry, palate balanced by juicy, sweet apple fruitiness.

A single cask Dalmore 2005 17-year-old bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by Gordon & MacPhail as a UK Exclusive for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength series.

Dalmore isn't often seen at full strength without colour adjustment and independent bottlings are thin on the ground, so this is a rare treat. This all-natural 17-year-old Dalmore 2005 came from a single refill bourbon barrel that yielded 225 bottles at its natural cask strength of 56.2%, and we don't expect it to be gracing our shelves for long.

A 17-year-old 2005 vintage bottling of Ballechin, the heavily-peated single malt from Edradour, the tiny independent Highland distillery in Pitlochry owned by Signatory Vintage.

This Edradour Ballechin 2005 17-year-old is a micro batch of two Burgundy wine casks and, unusually, was a full term maturation rather than a finish.  An edition of just over two thousand bottles, this 2005 Ballechin 17-year-old was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its natural cask strength of 53.5%.

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%

A great all-rounder, Old Pulteney 18-year-old has been double matured in a selection of ex-bourbon and Spanish oak casks at 46% without colouring or chill filtration.

Old Pulteney 18-year-old replaced the much-loved 17-year-old in the Pulteney core range in 2018 - a tough act to follow, but the 18-year-old has really stepped up to the plate and is pound-for-pound one of the best value official 18-year-old Highland whiskies on the market.
