Talisker 2010-2019 | 9 Year Old | Old Particular DL13728
Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%
A delightful coastal whisky from Douglas Laing for the Old Particular series. This is a whisky that speaks of the land, wild, smoky and hints of those maritime notes that will evoke memories of Skye if you have been lucky enough to visit...
This Talisker was distilled in November 2010 and matured in a single refill hogshead #DL13728 for 9 glorious years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular Series in November 2019. It was bottled unchill-filtered at an abv of 48.4% with a yield of just 365 bottles.
The Old Particular Series shows off hand-selected single cask bottlings from all over Scotland the way the distiller intended - no additional colouring, no chill-filtration and at a high ABV.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Bonfire embers with iodine, smoke and just a touch of salted caramel.
