Matured in a single refill hogshead, cask DL17231, this Highland whisky was bottled at 48.4% without colouring or chill filtration, with just 145 bottles produced.

Founded in 1817, Teaninich is a Highland distillery near Alness, known for producing a relatively light, grassy and malty spirit. Its whisky is primarily used in blends, making independently bottled single casks such as this an opportunity to explore the distillery's individual character.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes on the label suggest aromas of barley sugar, milky oats and honey, followed by a sweet palate with liquorice and a subtle trace of smoke, leading to a finish of light soot, toffee and warming malted notes.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers.
