The release was limited to just 419 individually numbered ceramic decanters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each small-batch or single-cask release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTamdhu was founded in 1897 beside the River Spey and has developed a particularly strong association with sherry cask maturation. The distillery was mothballed in 2010 before being acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2011, with production restarting in 2013.
