The cask produced a limited release of 416 bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Provenance range focuses on single-cask and small-batch whiskies from distilleries across Scotland, bottled with an emphasis on presenting the individual character of the spirit and its maturation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTamdhu was founded in 1897 on the banks of the River Spey and is particularly associated today with sherry cask maturation. This independent bottling offers a different perspective on the distillery, with maturation in a refill hogshead allowing the underlying Tamdhu spirit to remain more prominent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTasting Notes: Creamy with caramelised nuts, citrus, spicy ginger and vanilla fudge, followed by sweet herbal, malt and honey notes, with a late drift of smoke.
