As with other Provenance releases, it was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Provenance range focuses on single-cask and small-batch whiskies from across Scotland, bottled with minimal intervention to retain the individual character of the spirit and cask.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's tasting notes describe a sweet and honeyed nose with fresh buttery pastry and hints of fresh orchard fruit. The palate is creamy and rich, with rhubarb and custard donuts alongside delicate and soft spices. The finish brings gentle pepper notes leading to warming ginger, sweet cereal and apricot jam.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTamdhu was founded beside the River Spey in 1897 and is particularly associated with sherry cask maturation in its official bottlings.
