This Lowland whisky was bottled at 53.5% after more than three decades of maturation.

St Magdalene Distillery, also known as Linlithgow, was established in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. The distillery was one of Scotland's notable Lowland malt producers before closing in 1983 during a period of widespread distillery closures. Much of the original site has since been converted into residential accommodation, making surviving bottlings increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of closed distilleries.

Distilled shortly before St Magdalene's closure, this 1982 vintage offers an opportunity to experience a mature example of the distillery's whisky, bottled at a relatively high strength of 53.5%. A particularly interesting release for collectors of old Lowland single malts and whiskies from Scotland's lost distilleries.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0442/9293/1743/files/925689StMagdalene1982-2013_31YearOldHartBrothersFinestCollection.jpg?v=1793720563
