The blend combines sweet malt and gentle smoke with the salty, maritime qualities that have become the hallmark of the Rock Island range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginally launched as Rock Oyster, the whisky was renamed Rock Island in 2019 while retaining its focus on combining malt whiskies from Scotland's island distilleries.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's tasting notes describe wave-soaked rocks and a salty, oceanic freshness on the nose.
