A legendary limited edition Mortlach 1936 50-year-old and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in the late 1980s. This was a short-lived but rather beautiful decanter series featuring G&M's wonderful Book Of Kells label.
However, it's the whisky that is the star here; a 50-year-old pre-war, long-aged Mortlach distilled in 1936 is one of the whisky world's absolute treasures. An olfactory glimpse into an era of distilling that had hardly changed since Victorian times - and which produced some of the most incredible whiskies ever bottled.
