As with Douglas Laing's XOP releases, the whisky was bottled without colouring or chill-filtration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe late 1990s are a particularly interesting period for Laphroaig, and well-aged independent bottlings from this era have become increasingly difficult to find.
