Matured in a single refill hogshead, cask DL18537, this Highland whisky was bottled exclusively for Maltoyama at a natural cask strength of 55.8%, without colouring or chill filtration, with 302 bottles produced.

Located on the Isle of Jura, just off Scotland's west coast, Jura Distillery was established in 1810 and rebuilt in the early 1960s following a long period of closure. The distillery is known for producing a generally light, fruity and gently malty style of single malt, although its character can vary considerably between individual casks.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes from the label suggest a nose of sugary sweetness and honey with a nutty, cereal-based character, followed by warming tart and spicy flavours with a buttered malt loaf backdrop. The finish develops dark liquorice alongside herbal notes and autumnal apple and pear flavours.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0442/9293/1743/files/14430Jura2012-2024_12YearOldDouglasLaingOldParticularSingleCaskDL18537.jpg?v=1793361570
https://www.whisky-online.com/products/jura-2012-2024-12-year-old-douglas-laing-old-particular-single-cask-dl18537
