Matured in a single refill butt, cask DL17531, this Highland whisky was bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.5%, without colouring or chill filtration, with 667 bottles produced.

Founded in 1824, Fettercairn is a Highland distillery located at the foot of the Grampian Mountains in Aberdeenshire. The distillery is known for its distinctive cooling rings fitted to the spirit stills, which help produce a lighter, fruit-forward spirit. Independent single cask bottlings such as this offer an opportunity to explore Fettercairn's character outside its official range.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes from the label suggest a wonderfully sweet nose of macerated autumn fruits and home baking, followed by warming fruit, juicy barley, marzipan and spices on the palate. The finish develops attractive hints of honey on toast and mild coffee, with a late vanilla toffee sweetness.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0442/9293/1743/files/14417Fettercairn2009-2024_14YearOldDouglasLaingOldParticularSingleCaskDL17531.jpg?v=1793291095
https://www.whisky-online.com/products/fettercairn-2009-2024-14-year-old-douglas-laing-old-particular-single-cask-dl17531
