Drawn from single cask #133, an Oloroso sherry hogshead, this Speyside single malt was bottled at 54.1%, with an outturn of 330 bottles. This is release number 194 in the series.

This particular release has received an Oloroso sherry finish, bringing an additional layer of richness to the distillery's naturally full-bodied character. The influence of the sherry cask promises notes of dried fruits, warming spices, dark chocolate and polished oak, balanced by the underlying malty depth for which Dailuaine is known.

Founded in 2018 by Alistair Walker, the Infrequent Flyers series focuses on carefully selected single casks from distilleries that are often overlooked or less frequently encountered as independent bottlings. This 2008 vintage Dailuaine is a particularly interesting addition to the range, combining 18 years of ageing with the influence of Oloroso sherry and a generous bottling strength.

Attributes

Distillery

Dailuaine

Bottler

Alistair Walker Whisky Company

Series

Infrequent Flyers

Country

Scotland

Region

Speyside

Distilled Year

2008

Bottling Year

2026

Age

18

Bottles Produced

293

Cask Type

Oloroso Hogshead

Cask Number

133

Bottle Size

70cl

ABV

54.1%

Pre-Owned

No

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0442/9293/1743/files/14401Dailuaine2008-2026_18YearOldInfrequentFlyersSingleCask133.jpg?v=1792768066
https://www.whisky-online.com/products/dailuaine-2008-2026-18-year-old-infrequent-flyers-single-cask-133
