Matured in a single refill barrel, cask DL18872, this Highland whisky was bottled at 48.4% without colouring or chill filtration, with 289 bottles produced.

Located near Brora in the northern Highlands, Clynelish Distillery was established in 1967 and is particularly known for its distinctive waxy spirit character, often accompanied by citrus, honey and coastal influences. Independent single cask bottlings offer an opportunity to explore the distillery's character through individual cask maturation.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes from the label suggest a rich, barley-based nose with gentle spice, hard fruit candy and a backdrop of malt. The palate is big and viscous, showing bold cereal flavours alongside marmalade on warm buttery toast, followed by a finish of citrus, sugar, cedar wood and mixed spices.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers.
