The release was limited to just 246 individually numbered ceramic decanters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCaol Ila was established in 1846 on the shores of the Sound of Islay, from which the distillery takes its name.
