Dead Whisky Society

Dead Whisky Society was an independent bottler founded by Dundee entrepreneur Laura Greig Conway,. The concept was to bottle the finest single Malts and Gain whiskies from distilleries which had been demolished or closed for many years, but sadly the venture was short lived and the project ended in 2011 after only handful of bottlings. The 1971 Banff bottling has become renowned as being one of the best Banff’s ever bottled to this day. Similar could be said from two Grain whiskies, firstly, the 1976 Caledonian from the the City of Edinburgh distillery which was first established in 1855 . Secondly, a 1983 Cambus, sadly the distillery finally closied its doors for the last time in 1993 and demolished soon after.
