As with other releases in the Provenance range, it was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's tasting notes describe warm apple pie with brown sugar and custard alongside a fresh fruit medley on the nose, followed by creamy and mouth-coating cereals, honeyed barley and orchard fruits on the palate. The finish lingers with warming spiciness plus orange cream, filo pastry and toasted oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlair Athol is situated in Pitlochry and is known for producing a relatively full-bodied Highland spirit.
